ENGLISH
Heroes of the morning, first song of the album and which gives it its title, is a tribute to the early risers. A text full of irony and self-deprecation written by my dear childhood friend David Hodgkinson in 1995. I composed the music and it was one of the hits of our group Jam On & On in those days. For this updated version, I allowed myself to make a few winks to our reference group at the time, Traditional Tourist. Those who attended the Harlem Jazz Club in Barcelona in the 90's, will meet there.
Nicolas Berthelot makes his appearance with an alto sax solo. Nicolas was a faithful component of my jazz quartet between 2011 and 2015. I am happy and grateful for his participation for this album. Thank you Nico !!

¡¡Gracias Nico!!
The savage bell of the alarm clock
Hurts your slumber until it’s stops
Open your eyes and support the light
Get up and brave the life.
You, heroes of the morning,
You, victims of awakening.
You leave in your bed’s softness
Your dreams of happiness.
So you decide to afront the day
The noise, the smell of the routine that you hate
‘Til when exauted by the fight
You fall into the arms of the sweet night.
CHORUS
You’re home is the darkness of your closed eyes
You find the peace in the silence of the night
There’s when your quiet dreams remember
The time when you were in the belly your mother.
